Harpefossen Ski Centre is located in Hjelmelandsdalen Valley in Eid, 10 km from the centre of Nordfjordeid. Arena for National Championships in Alpine Skiing. Located 300 masl. 550 m vertical drop. 6 ski lifts: three main lifts, three children lifts. Excellent lift capacity and well groomed slopes. Harpefossen is well known for large and varied areas for powder runs and gets often fresh snow during the season. Nice arena for cross country skiing with about 15 km groomed tracks. The trail runs past idyllic mountain farms. Also arena for biathlon skiing. Night skiing in floodlights all season for both alpine and cross country skiing. Ski instruction on request in alpine, Telemark or snowboard. Perfect starting point for ski touring in scenic landscape with views to the Nordfjord.
